Exile Updates

 

 

 
  • Smoke Grenades Tweaks.
  • Weapon/Items Trader Menus: Will now display a lock image over the item image. If you don't own the DLC for the item.   (Vehicle Traders aren't done yet)

Above is just an example, to show it in use, the padlock image will only show for DLC items, if you do not own that particular DLC, you will still be able to buy it this is a friendly reminder.

  • Other misc fixes
  • 5 Minute Spawn Timer before you can respawn at same location (Not 100% set on time yet, we will monitor the situation).
  • Random Spawn is now a proper random parachute spawn

Update to random spawn system

 

 

  • Add check so you don't spawn on top of mission/cap (can still randomly spawn nearby, please be aware this is still being tested, and we are looking for that sweet spot).

 

  • Once you land you lose your Bambi status. 

 

Not yet implemented.

Also the height at which you spawn is being tweaked too, so players can not cover huge distances while gliding.

A Change To Spawns and Random Spawns
 
 
So after the initial implementation of the new random spawn system we have been watching and listening.
 
We are aware that it is not perfect, so we are going to make some changes to how the spawns work, they are as follows. Also please remember these may not be final and further changes could be made. Constructive feedback is always welcomed. Preferably on the forums.
 
 
The spawn timer is being increased to 10 minutes from 5 minutes.
 
 
When the server restarts a particular fixed spawn position will be chosen(at random), and that spawn will not have a spawn lock out timer on it for the entirety of that restart. 
 
For example, the server chooses Cherno, you will always be able to spawn there, and will not have to wait for the spawn timer to expire. 
 
The spawn that is chosen will be an existing spawn point, it will not be a random one.
For Cherno they are:-
  • Balota
  • Cherno
  • Elektro
  • Kamyshovo
  • Solnichniy
  • Nizhnoye
 
For other maps please refer to their fixed spawn positions.
 
Also the random spawn option is going to have a 10 minute timer just like every other spawn location, this should stop the new players who are not to fussed about their respect levels from spamming spawns to get to their desired location.

FYI
This change has not yet been implemented, it will be rolled out on the servers over the next couple of days.

Fixed:
Containers/Safes will no longer eat money stored inside when moving them.
Moving Safe will no longer reset code to 0000, it now keeps the previous code.
Fixed a bug when moving a safe, server could get confused what was meant to be inside it.

Safes will now have their door open on server startup, if they were left unlocked.
Previously they were unlocked, but the door was closed ( purely a visual change )

  • Added Enhanced Movement to Tanoa Dev Servers

 

Something you have all been calling for, for quite awhile now, Enhanced Movement has now been added to 3 servers for testing. 

All Tanoa servers will have this mod enabled within the next couple of hours.

 

Players will not be able to use this feature while they are in range of bases to combat abuse.

 

Please remember this is an early implementation of this Mod, and changes may be made to improve it, if you have something to say about it, keep it to the forums and keep it civil.

 

Should everything be OK, this Mod will be rolled out to the rest of the servers in the coming days.

 

THE KEY TO USE THIS FEATURE IS SPACE BAR, AND AT THE MOMENT IT IS NOT CHANGEABLE.

 

Important

Until we make it so you can customise the button you use for the enhanced Movement, if you used space bar to select items to loot you will have to use middle mouse button.

There was an issue where if  Exile Constructions / Containers were outside a territory,  they weren't getting removed.
Explains the random walls / workbenches around the map etc.

This issue should be sorted now, but it will take up to 7 days for these to get removed.

  • Enhanced Movement added to all servers.
  • Added the ability to change the key binding for Enhanced Movement.

To change the key binding for Enhanced Movement open up your XM8 in game by pressing "6" and follow the pictures shown below.

Mission Reward Updates

 

 

Today an update has been pushed to all mission rewards that spawn a loot box upon completion. These are :-

 

>Mission "Bandit Camp"

 

>Mission "Black Hawk Down"

 

>Mission "IKEA Convoy"

 

>Mission "Bandit Invasion"

 

>Mission "Irradiated Device"

 

Each mission has had a complete over haul of what is available as a reward, many more items have been added as a reward, and the chance of what you will get as a reward is much more even now, you should be seeing much more variety when you now complete a mission.

 

 

There will be some overlap on the rewards, for example both the Bandit camp and Black Hawk Down Mission will have a few lower tier items that are the same. However each mission now has unique items that can only be obtained from completing the mission.

Various Breaching Charges (Wood, Metal and Cinder)

 

These are just a few examples of what is available.

Get out there kick some ass, and enjoy the spoils  :D  ;)  :D

 

 

Traders

 

With the change to missions, comes some slight changes to the traders, some prices have been adjusted, up and down. Respect levels for some items have been changed also, up and down.

Zombies are no longer marathon runners, also they also shouldn't get confused as easily now. 

Chernarus Isle been updated
  Utes loot has been updated, loot spawning in the new buildings etc
  Utes is now zombie free island, but has been taken over by special forces.
     bonus respect for killing them versus normal AI. Subject to change / balancing tweaks

Fix for trader popup error & some other minor tweaks

Exile Updates 21/04/17

 

Christmas Has Come Early. (Well at least for some of you, as some people will never be happy).

 

  • Snap Vector Building Pro (SVBP). Improved Building system new advanced features.

 

  • Further tweaks to position finder for Missions and Dynamic Traders. (Hopefully better placement)
  • South West Trader has had an overhaul. Safe helicopter landing spots, multiple lockers.... Etc etc.

  • A.I. At missions will have a wider variety of Weapons, Vests and Backpacks.
  • Loot position tweaks for the entire Cherno Map. So loot will be spawning in new places as well as the existing ones you are all aware of, using Enhanced Movement may reveal more loot if you go exploring. (Esseker and Tanoa to follow, not eta on this at the moment).
  • Katkoula Trader has had an overhaul (Tanoa).

Been afew TornZ Updates in last day or 2.
The changes basically are

Zombies that couldn't move, have learnt to walk again
Zombies have learnt to face towards player when attacking

AI should/will shoot zombies again.
(If there is AI not shooting AI please report, take note if you kill the AI if you get Elite bonus respect or not thanks)


Zombies should now run abit slower when running a steep uphill. (Remember this is arma, so may not work 100%)

Zombies are disabled atm due to a bug that keeps happening.

 

A update will be pushed tomorrow 1 server at a time until happy it is working correctly.

A few bug fixes and small quality of life additions (Make sure to update mods on your CCG launcher.): 

 

Fixed:

 

  • Reduced sensitivity of anti-wall glitching detection. Was responsible for teleporting players around/out of bases or to debug. 
     
  • Balanced black market vehicle prices. BRDM is now more expensive. 
     
  • Changed restart messages so they match.
     
  • When logging out of a car you would join back stuck in the sitting position. This should be fixed.
     
  • 8G bullet cam disabled to prevent being able to see through walls. 

 

Added:

 

  • Alert when paying base maintenance to confirm maintenance was paid.
     
  • Experimental anti-theft script. Same theft rules apply while we determine the reliability of the script!

New update, please update CCG mod, JointRails Unofficial and NIArms in your launchers. 

 

You may need to manually delete JointRails 0.22 in the launcher

 

Changes to safes on base flags.

 

For a long time now base raiding has been fairly pointless as people just placed safes on their flag. We have now added the ability to temporarily move safes covering flags. Simply walk up to the safe on the flag, open the scroll menu and select 'Move this damn safe'. You can then move the safe and access the flag. The safe will be returned to its original position on restarts.

 

Flag stealing will be disabled until Friday (4/8/17) so players can redesign their bases to accommodate this change

 

NIArms V8

 

The servers have been updated to NIArms V8. This brings some new pistols and rifles (Rifles will be added later). 

 

NIArms MagSwitch

 

Visual change to magazines on some NIArms weapons. Mainly, AK weapons can now use drum mags. 

 

HUD Changes

 

The HUD has been changed for vehicles, showing the standard damage indicators in the top right. Planes now also show throttle percentage. 

You can change the colour of these new HUD elements in the options. 

 

Sledgehammers

 

Sledgehammers have long been useless. Now you can use them to break down a destroyed vehicle for a random number of scrap metal. 

 

Minor fixes/changes:

 

  • Dead vehicles no longer show repair icons
  • Fixed Irradiated device spawning two sets of enemies
  • Minor fixes to bugged missions
  • Fixed Player news not showing up when logging into the server
  • Added new updates to Player news

Mission Changes
Armed Vehicles (AI Only) at some missions, increased loot at those mission sites.

Elite AI wasn't working on other maps correctly besides Chernarus Utes. (Fixed)

Missions no longer spawn on top of main traders.

Salvaged Metal Scrap is now random number based on vehicle + scrap value.

Fix for when player hops into vehicles with simulation disabled. (i.e bike at a certain trader)

Stealing Flags enabled again

More NIArms Weapons later today

Base Flag Stolen ????
 You can now see who and what clan stole your flag.
    XM8 -> Territory  

 XM8 is turned on by default when loading a character on the server. 
 So its only offline for fresh spawns now
