Hello my friends of Tanoa Frankie US server, to log on the server you may: Log on Tanoa Frankie 1 or 2, then get back in the server browser in arma 3 and look for Frankie server, you will find the US one and be able to log on it. (ps: dont forget to update your arma to the latest version)

Matt76, we really appreciate your spent time and efforts for Arma community, but please try to see it from our end. You announced that Altis is going to be replaced with Tanoa and a lot of us bought it. Tanoa had a lot of regular players and now it's being taking down in favor of bad looking, Stratis comparable map. Your server, your rules, i got it, but please think about community you have created. Altis = Stratis = Malden. Same thing in a different shape. Tanoa was unique. Regards.

balancing changes - some may find this controversial however i'm confident skilled players can kill just as much but just not as easily as point and click from a million miles away. 

 

no price changes to UAVs

 

K40 & MQ4A Greyhawk Missile UAVs have had the Scalpel missiles reduced from 6 to 4 and chaff rounds reduced to from 120 to 60.

 

MQ-12 Falcon UAV has had the AT missiles reduced from 24 to 12 and Scalpel missiles from 6 to 4 also the price has been reduced to 90K

 

 

Jets - the list below shows you what ammo and weapons each jet will now have - the biggest change is that AGM missiles have been removed. 

 

Wipeout 

price reduced to 190k

1000rnd gatling

2 AA missiles

4 bombs

192rnd chaff

 

To-199 Neophron 

price increased to 200k

2 x 500rnd 30mm cannon 

20rnd rockets

2rnd AA missiles

2rnd bomb

192rnd Chaff

 

A-143 Buzzard CAS

price increased to 170k

2 x 300rnd 20mm cannon

2rnd AA  missiles

2rnd Bombs

192rnd chaff

 

no change to the A-143 Buzzard (AA)

Tanoa only and will go in tonight.

Several ATMs have been removed and some moved around the map away from Airfields primarily, i felt access to bank money was too easy. Hopefully this makes the game a little more 'risky' and will make players think tactically.

The Gun Store in George Town has been moved across the map to Oumere. The more people avoid george town the better, terrible fps.

bank limit and ATM issue now fixed although i have had to roll it back 2 hours. 

 

Added in a lot more random mission locations to the map

On next restarts and when steam is working again territory payouts have been increased to 2.5k and payroll every 20mins instead of 30mins

 

I have widened the player perimeter of the clean up script from 80m to 200m - so items won't just vanish if your near to them. However be aware the more objects the script has earmarked to delete (over 200 items) it will slowly decrease this by 10% each time until it clears them.

on the next restarts the Caesar fixed wing aircraft has had an upgrade !!

 

Presenting the Caesar Armed- armed with a 500 rnd minigun & 20 rnd rocket pod - with a purchase price of 35k

over the next few days i'm going to work around some of the stores on Tanoa and give them a bit of a make over, i have started with the central airfield today, helis and planes will spawn on the runway after purchase.

Barney recently gave me an idea for some new missions, the gist of it was to create a mission whereby an item would be left on a AI when they all died that you could go and take to a store and sell it. 

 

However Arma is shit, items such as tins, hammers, multimeters or any small object cannot be added to inventories without scripting which really did limit my options when i first looked at this. 

 

So i have scripted this in a similar way to Drugs, whereby you can pick said items up and add them to the wasteland player inventory. The first mission along these lines i have created is called 'Locate the Gadget' its very simple, a small gadget will be randomly placed anywhere within a 45m radius of the mission marker - go and find it then sell it at the General Store!. 

 

It's actually quite hard to find but very rewarding when you sell it ! - Enjoy :)

Scripting changes to the in game missions, players won't see a different as such but it will help the server performance.

A new mission has been added based around an old wasteland mission, this is called 'Hack The Server'

 

Kill the AI guarding the laptop and download the data, once complete you will take 25% of all off the enemy players currently online that they are carrying plus a bonus of 50K

Added a new mission called 'MLRS Heavy Artillery'

 

You get the chance to get one of these bad boys however please note to rearm the vehicle it costs 20k.
