I have created a new mission that is still being tested at the moment but it's something quite different, it should be live over the weekend.

you know how i like to annoy players :)

you also know some players flying around in Jets and choppers seem to find blasting missions quite easy, well this one is for the foot soldiers.

whilst someone needs to find the controller at the marked location up to 12 SAM sites will be randomly spawned around the map. which kind of makes flying around a little trickier. These SAM sites are indestructible and the only way to stop them is to find the controller at the mission position - good look with that :)

A new mission going in called 'Satellite Data' 

 

It's quite straight forward but a little different - 

 

Marked on the map is the location of a laptop, go to it and go through the process of downloading the data which takes a few mins (hold your breath), once this process is complete you will then be awarded vehicle map markers for 4 mins i.e. all vehicles on the server will be visible on your map for 4 mins. 

 

No AI, No Mines its first person to complete the download wins.

Mi-290 Taru (Resupply) price increased from 7500 to 26000, 1k more than the Taru repair version. Seems this slipped under my radar

was previously set at one quarter of the purchase price, this must have been left in when i was testing stuff some time ago, it has been increased to half the purchase price where it should be. if you can afford the vehicle you can afford to service it !! :)

Prices increases for choppers with DAGR.
 
Inf Titan AA and ammo price increased. 
 
Slight Increase to the price of the airdropped crates as well
 
WY-55 HELLCAT (GUNS + DAGR) now only has 12rnds instead of 24
 
Pawnee scalpel variant removed due to not being able to get a lock on with them.
 
Ammo truck removed from NW airfield on Malden. 
 
Blackfish Bomber variant added, this has 4 bombs and should be fun. 
 
after the event you will also see price increases for our Jets, they have been a little cheap in my opinion so with the increase in price along with using ammo trucks they will be an expensive toy which they should be.

These two are Malden only at the moment as i'm still working through bugs. 
 
<br/>[Added] persistent player bounties - use the ATM to place - the new scoreboard will show who has a bounty outstanding if they are online. 
 
<br/>[Added] A new scoreboard that shows KD ratio and current stats and of course highlights to you which players have a bounty and the reward amount. 
 
bounty notes
you cannot place bounties of players in your team (opfor/blufor).
You cannot place bounties or claim bounties of players in your group. 
You cannot group up with someone you collected bounty on for 2 days, this is to prevent abuse.

i'm just updating the servers to 1.76 

 

i have added in some of the LOW DLC content to the VA, i will add more to the server like the new civi vehicles over the next day or so, nothing great added in this DLC for Wasteland i'm afraid.  I want more Tanks ! :(

okay a bit of a change to first aid or healing yourself in game. 

 

* I have removed first aid kits from the mission

* Medkits are not automatically applied to a player when in the VA now, you have to select one. 

* All players can use medkits to heal 100%, no matter how much health you don't have.

* The medic can apply his medkit an unlimited amount of times whilst still alive if they select 'treat yourself' however other players can't as it gets used & deleted when applied.

i am currently updating our servers to the latest Wasteland version which brings some really nice stuff such as the new KillFeed feature

You can alter the position of the killfeed, go to player menu and click killfeed for the UI below and change the settings here, these settings save across restarts

the rock formation overlooking Kill Farm on Stratis has been removed from the map, this was often used to glitch into and camp the gun store.
